This advanced, hands on course trains participants to detect, identify, and assess potential technical surveillance activity through the monitoring and analysis of wireless signals and other electromagnetic emissions. Building on core concepts of radio frequency theory and signal behavior, students will learn to recognize anomalous transmissions and proper reporting procedures. Through a series of scenario-based exercises, participants will apply practical techniques to monitor, detect, and identify anomalous signals in a controlled environment. Emphasis is placed on lawful detection, disciplined methodology, and accurate documentation of findings. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of modern surveillance capabilities, including how adversaries identify, target, and exploit individuals and assets. Core topics include: 1.
