Lock Vulnerabilities and Bypass Course

Service Description

This 5-day, advanced, hands-on course trains participants to identify vulnerabilities and gain proficiency with bypass techniques to find weaknesses before adversaries do and fix them through better design, installation, policy, and training. This course trains lock anatomy and science, key exploitation, lock construction and deconstruction and the foundational skills needed for successful surreptitious entry. Additionally, students will learn advanced bypass methods for common padlocks and residential locks as well as an introduction to foreign residential locks and padlocks. This course also delves into the world of electronic and industrial locking systems as well as electronic sensors. All training provided in this course is strictly for defensive purposes and falls within legal, and ethical guidelines for the purposes of vulnerability assessments, red-teaming within authorized scopes, locksmithing, product testing, and informed procurement.
